Morgan Freeman’s granddaughter murdered

New details this morning in the gruesome killing of Morgan Freeman’s granddaughter.

Edena Hines, 33, can be recognized for attending red carpet events with the veteran star actor.

Hines was found yesterday on the street in front of her Manhattan apartment suffering from multiple stab wounds to her chest.

The New York Post says a police source has told them that her live-in boyfriend, Lamar Davenport, age 30, was in a drug-induced psychosis when he went after her.

Another witness described the attack to the Post as an “exorcism,” saying the attacker yelled “get out, devils! I cast you out.”

It’s reported that police had to wrestle the attacker off Hines.

Davenport is in custody facing murder charges.

Freeman issued a statement saying,  “The world will never know her artistry and talent, and how much she had to offer.”  Hines is the granddaughter of Freeman’s first wife.
