More repairs coming for Burlington Canal lift bridge

Drivers won’t be able to cross it, and for part of the time ships won’t be able to go under it.

Public Works Canada has announced that the Burlington Lift bridge undergo repairs next week, from midnight Monday, until 6 am Thursday December 13th. That means the bridge is closed to drivers, pedestrians and cyclists.

And on Tuesday, December 11th shipping traffic won’t be able to enter or exit Hamilton Harbour from 7 am until 7 pm.
