More C. difficile cases at Hamilton hospital

There are now 9 cases at Juravinski Hospital.
An outbreak was declared Monday in the inpatient hematology unit with five confirmed cases.

Hamilton Health Sciences says a sixth person acquired the infection elsewhere in the hospital, and three were brought in from the community.

Officials say one man of the original five cases has died but that the infection was not a factor in his death.
