Monte McNaughton pulls out of PC leadership race

Monte McNaughton has dropped out of the Ontario Progressive Conservative leadership race.

The London-area MPP is throwing his support behind Barrie MP Patrick Brown.

The race is now down to Brown and deputy PC leader Christine Elliot, the widow of former federal finance minister Jim Flaherty. Progressive Conservative party members across Ontario will vote for a new leader May 3rd and 7th.
