Mohawk College Health Services says it will be offering Covid-19 vaccinations starting Jan. 3, 2022 and is now offering PCR testing to its staff and students.
COVID-19 Vaccine Appointments
The college says appointments will be available based on vaccine supply and can be booked by emailing healthservices@mohawkcollege.ca.
It is currently making appointments for students and staff 50 years and older requiring booster shots and for anyone eligible for a first or second dose. Appointment booking opened on Monday for those over 18 who are eligible for booster shots.
Mohawk College Health Services says it will be booking appointments for its people until Dec. 31.
PCR Testing
The college’s Health Services says it is offering PCR testing for diagnosis of COVID-19 by appointment only.
It says staff and students who have been exposed to COVID-19 or have symptoms must complete the provincial screen questionnaire and email healthservices@mohawkcollege.ca with a screen shot of the completed questionnaire.
Testing is available Monday-Friday from 8:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m.
The college says there is no charge for testing.
The college says the new initiatives are meant to prevent the spread of COVID-19 within the campus community.
