Halton police are asking for the public’s help in locating a missing “vulnerable” woman whose vehicle was last seen in Halton Hills earlier this week.

Elisabeth Morton is described as roughly five-foot-two, with short, white, curly hair and a medium to large build.

The 72-year-old was last seen leaving Whitby in her vehicle on Tuesday. Police say she never showed up at a scheduled doctor’s appointment.

On Tuesday night, a citizen called police to report a slow-moving, erratic driver on Highway 25 near 1- Side Rd. Investigators say the vehicle description and license plate matched Morton’s car.

Officers continued to search for the vehicle on Wednesday but did not locate it.

Police say Morton may be lost and unable to make it back home.

Morton’s car is described as a blue, four-door, Chrysler 300C with license plate number 23JA48. The plate also has a Blue Jays logo on it.

Anyone who sees Morton or her vehicle is asked to call 911 immediately.
