UPDATE: Missing Hamilton teen Jeremiah Alcantara found safe

Hamilton police are asking the public’s help in locating a missing 16-year-old teen.

Jeremiah Alcantara was last seen leaving his residence in the area of Stone Church Rd E and Upper Wentworth on his BMX bike shortly before 8 a.m. on Saturday, June 27.

He has not been seen since.

Police say there is concern for Jeremiah as he is considered vulnerable and requires support.

He is not usually away from home for long periods of time.

Jeremiah is described as Southeast Asian, 5’5, 150 lbs with a medium build.

He has short back hair and brown eyes.

His bicycle is rust-brown in colour with red and white rims.
