The Ministry of Labour is investigating after four contractors were sent to hospital in Oakville.

Police say a group of workers were at a townhouse complex on Greenwich Dr., near Bronte Rd. and Dundas St., on Thursday.

They were using gas-powered pressure washers in an underground garage.

By the end of the day, they began feeling sick and ambulances and fire crews were called to the scene.

Firefighters discovered high levels of carbon monoxide.

The workers were brought to hospital.
