Halton police have arrested and charged a Milton man with sexual assault.

Investigators say the victim and suspect met in person after meeting on an app called Whisper and chatting for several weeks.

The accused also goes by the name Chance39 on social media platforms.

On Tuesday, officers charged 48-year-old Trevor Green with six separate offences, including two counts of sexual assault and luring a child.

Green was held in custody pending a bail hearing.

Investigators believe there may be additional victims.
