Metrolinx releases James North GO station sketches

The agency in charge of public transportation in the Greater Toronto and Hamilton area has released some preliminary designs of the future GO station on James Street North in Hamilton.

According to Metrolinx, the station is expected to open in time for the 2015 Pan Am games. Under the plan, the station will be located between James Street and MacNab street, near Liuna station.

According to the drawings, the station will feature a large piazza with the station located closer to MacNab street. All-day GO train service will begin after the games take place.
