Metrolinx adding trips for Toronto FC, Miami CF game Saturday

With Toronto FC taking on Lionel Messi and Inter Miami CF at BMO Field Saturday, Metrolinx is adding additional trips to help fans travel to and from the game.

Metrolinx anticipates approximately 40,000 fans will travel to Toronto for the match, and because of this they are adding and adjusting service along the Lakeshore lines to and from Exhibition GO.

The transportation company is adding six trips to help fans get to the game.

Eastbound, towards Union Station:

  • Departing Oakville GO at 11:16, making all stops before arriving at Exhibition GO at 11:51
  • Departing Oakville GO at 11:46, making all stops before arriving at Exhibition GO at 12:21
  • Departing Oakville GO at 12:16, making all stops before arriving at Exhibition GO at 12:51

Westbound, from Union Station:

  • Departing Union Station at 11:32, arriving at Exhibition GO at 11:41
  • Departing Union Station at 12:02, arriving at Exhibition GO at 12:11
  • Departing Union Station at 12:32, arriving at Exhibition GO at 12:41

Four trips have been added to help fans get home.

Eastbound, towards Union Station:

  • Departing Exhibition GO at 15:26, arriving at Union Station at 15:35
  • Departing Exhibition GO at 15:56, arriving at Union Station at 16:05

Westbound, from Union Station:

  • Departing Union Station at 15:27, making all stops before arriving at Burlington GO at 16:27
  • Departing Union Station at 15:57, making all stops before arriving at Burlington GO at 16:57

Lakeshore East:

  • Departing Whitby GO at 10:28, making all stops before arriving at Union Station at 11:27

On weekends, GO trains run every 15 minutes on the Lakeshore West and Lakeshore East lines – with frequent service between 3 p.m. and 11 p.m.

The length of some trains on the Kitchener line will also be adjusted.
