Meet Toronto’s newest cub

The Toronto Zoo’s new polar bear cub has a name.

“Hudson” was selected in an online vote from five top names following a Name the Cub contest.

The contest attracted nearly 40, 000 submissions, said zoo officials.

Hudson was born October 11, 2011, and will join the other four polar bears who live at the zoo.
