Ottawa is rolling out new rules for medical marijuana.

Users will no longer be allowed to grow pot at home and the government will no longer produce medical marijuana. Patients will be permitted to buy prescribed amounts only from licensed growers who will be required to meet strict conditions.
And why has Ottawa changed the rules? Health Canada says since the medical marijuana program was introduced in 2001 with 500 authorized users, it has expanded to 30-thousand people.

Joining us in studio are Rade Kovacevic, chief business development officer with MedCannAccess, a Guelph company established to provide high quality medical cannabis; and standing by in Toronto is Matthew Mernagh, the man at the middle of a controversial court ruling on medical marijuana.
