Medical emergency stops trains near Hamilton City Hall

Hamilton police are responding to a medical emergency Tuesday morning on the train tracks near Hunter and Park streets, behind City Hall.

Officers tell CHCH News that they cannot provide any further details but trains have been stopped until the investigation is complete.

Metrolinx says a freight train was involved in this incident.

The transit agency says shuttle buses are currently running between Hamilton GO and West Harbour GO stations.
