Meat thief steals $30K worth of veal on Christmas Day

Toronto police are looking for a thief who stole “an extremely large quantity of veal” on Christmas Day.

Police believe someone took a large white trailer holding about $30,000 of veal between 3 p.m. and 5 a.m. The trailer was parked at a commercial address in the Signet Dr. and Fenmar Dr. area.

It is described as a 48-foot, refrigerated trailer, with a blue “W” and “White Valley” on the side. The rear doors of the trailer are distinctive with the right door coloured white and the left door made of stainless steel. The trailer has an Ontario license plate number K5885K.
