Fans at a Meat Loaf concert in Edmonton last night thought what they were seeing on stage was part of the act, until the lights came on and the music stopped.
The 68-year-old rock singer collapsed on stage during a performance of his Grammy-winning hit, “I’d Do Anything for Love (But I Won’t Do That).”
Meat Loaf’s publicists says that he suffered from dehydration. His vitals are normal and stable. He is now responsive and recovering in hospital.
Meat Loaf has collapsed on stage at least twice before, including a show in Pittsburgh in 2011 and another in London eight years earlier.
