McMaster students to attempt Guinness World Record for world’s longest quiz to help environment

A group of McMaster students are working together in an effort to try to break the Guinness World Record for the largest online quiz.
Through the quiz, the group is also aiming to raise awareness to help the environment.
McMaster says the attempt will need over 2,400 community members to come together to pull it off.
Adam El-Kadi, a third-year Bachelor of Health Sciences student is helping to organize the event. He said the group has been working on this effort for two or three years.
The quiz will be on Kahoot!, which is a game-based learning platform where users generate their own multiple-choice questions.
The group of students plan to get community members to log on and take part in an hour-long livestream of the quiz. It will feature trivia and sustainability questions, a live chat and prizes.
McMaster says the students have teamed up with #TeamTrees, which is a U.S.-based fundraising group that plants trees all around the world. For every dollar raised through the quiz, it will plant one tree.
