McMaster grad student tests positive for COVID-19

A McMaster graduate student has tested positive for COVID-19. The university posted the statement to its website but didn’t say where the student was on campus or when they tested positive.

Mac says all campus areas where the student was have been cleaned and are open for normal operations. Hamilton’s public health is managing contact tracing and would contact anyone who might be connected to this case.

The university says the student notified them quickly and was helpful in sharing information.

The latest numbers show Hamilton’s active case total is now at 81.
