McHale charges dropped

The Crown has withdrawn an assault charge against Caledonia activist Gary McHale, laid earlier this year.

He was charged during a demonstration, marking the fifth anniversary of the native land occupation this past February. The Crown says it withdrew the charge because there was no prospect of a conviction.
