Carney, Ford announce $3B in funding for small nuclear reactor project

Prime Minister Mark Carney is promising “unprecedented, generational” investments to transform the economy, while warning sacrifices will need to be made.

In a nationally televised address about his government’s upcoming first budget, Carney didn’t make any new major commitments, but he set the stage for his fiscal plan by highlighting some of its key themes.
