Marineland registers to lobby Ontario government in hopes of selling

Marineland has registered to lobby the Ontario government with the intent of rezoning the site and selling the Niagara Falls-based park.

Andrew Burns, a lawyer who has represented Marineland for years, says in the registry that the park is looking for potential zoning changes that will allow for development of the site.

The tourist attraction is also seeking financial support and tax relief for the development.

A spokesman for Tourism Minister Neil Lumsden says Marineland has made no contact with them.
