Marco Muzzo sentencing

[projekktor id=’23201′]
It was an emotional day at the Newmarket courthouse as 14 victim impact statements were read to Marco Muzzo, the 29-year old man who’s admitted to driving drunk when his SUV slammed into a van, killing three children and their grandfather. Muzzo had as much as three times the legal limit of alcohol in his blood at the time of the crash and was also speeding.
Jennifer Neville-Lake and her husband Ed have been waiting almost six months to confront Marco Muzzo, the drunk driver who killed all three of their children. Neville-Lake sobbed but continued to read her victim statement for nearly an hour, giving us a look into every parent’s worst nightmare.
Looking back to the day of the crash she said, “I’m forced to choose between spending more time with my daughter alive or have them refill drugs that keep her heart from exploding.” “Your actions have shattered my world, I’m drowning in the horror of what your choices have done to me.” “I have no one left to call me mom, you killed them all.”
Jennifer and Ed say that this tragedy has broken them financially, tested their marriage and has losened their grip on living altogether
Muzzo is expected to speak to the court tomorrow, perhaps to explain his remorse, words Neville-Lake says will fall onto deaf ears.
