It was a messy commute for those driving on the Linc through Hamilton this morning.
On an already foggy drive, traffic on the westbound Lincoln Alexander Parkway was delayed between Garth and Mohawk road for several hours, after a truck spilled a load of manure just after 8 o’clock. Hamilton Police Cst Steve Welton told CHCH News it spread across both lanes for 20 metres.
“We’ve had drivers going through the shoulder and we certainly appreciate the patience of the drivers.”
Welton says the biowaste is not a danger to the public. Charges are pending against the driver.
