Man wanted following knife point robbery of two pizza delivery drivers in Thorold

Niagara police are investigating the robbery of two pizza delivery drivers in Thorold.

On August 13, at around 11:40 p.m., police responded to a fast-food restaurant in Niagara Falls regarding a robbery.

Investigation determined a pizza delivery driver arrived at their prescribed destination in the area of Niagara Falls Road and Morton Street and was robbed at knife point.

Police say the suspect demanded money and then fled on foot with an undisclosed amount of cash. The pizza delivery driver did not sustain any physical injuries.

Then, on August 14, at around 2:50 p.m., police responded to the area of Niagara Falls Road and Ontario Street for another knife point robbery of a pizza delivery driver.

Police say the suspect demanded money and then fled on foot with an undisclosed amount of cash. The pizza delivery driver sustained minor physical injuries that did not require hospitalization.

Detectives say they believe both robberies are connected.

Surveillance footage of the suspect has been obtained from the second incident that occurred on August 14, at 2:50 p.m. The suspect is described as male, dark skin, 20-30 years of age, 5’8″, 119 lbs, wearing a grey baseball hat, a long-sleeved blue shirt, black/brown track pants and a blue medical mask.

Police say the man is considered to be armed and dangerous.
