Man wanted after bank robbery on east Hamilton Mountain

Police are searching for a man wanted in connection with a bank robbery on east Hamilton Mountain on Wednesday afternoon.

It happened at BMO on Fennell Avenue East near Upper Ottawa Street.

Officers say no injuries have been reported.

Hamilton Police responded to a bank robbery this afternoon in the area of Upper Ottawa St. and Fennell Ave. E. in #HamOnt.

The suspect is described as a white male in his 50s.

Please expect a large police presence as we continue to investigate.

There is no longer a large police presence in the area.

Customers can still access the ATMs inside the bank, but the rest of the branch is closed for the day.
