Man suffers life-threatening injuries in Ancaster e-scooter crash

Hamilton police say a crash involving an e-scooter has left the rider with life-threatening injuries in Ancaster.

On Friday at around 11 a.m., officers responded to the collision in the area of Stonehenge Drive between Stone Church Road West and Diiorio Circle.

Detectives say a 29-year-old man was riding the e-scooter. He lost control and sustained life-threatening injuries. He was transported to hospital for treatment.

Roads in the area were closed while police investigated and are expected to reopen shortly.

The investigation remains ongoing.
