Hamilton police are trying to identify a man after a victim was sexually assaulted while working at a local business.
Police say a man walked into a business in the area of Fennell Ave. East and Upper Sherman Ave. around 12:30 a.m. on Nov. 20.
The man interacted with the lone store employee before the sexual assault took place.
The suspect was last seen fleeing westbound on Fennell Ave. East.
Investigators do not know if the victim was targeted.
Police describe the suspect as white, between 23 and 27 years of age, five-foot-seven, with a thin build. He was wearing a black Adidas jacket, a dark coloured toque, jogging pants, and black running shoes.
The investigation has been taken over by the Victims of Crime Unit.
