One man is in hospital with serious injuries following a crash involving a motorized scooter Monday afternoon in Niagara Falls.
Officers responded around 2 p.m. to area of Lundy’s Lane between Carlton and Franklin avenues where a vehicle and motorized scooter collided as the vehicle attempted a left turn onto Lundy’s Lane.
Police say the adult male driver of the scooter was airlifted to an out-of-region hospital to treat life-threatening injuries and is now in stable condition.

Lundy’s Lane was closed between Carlton and Franklin avenues for several hours as police continued to investigate, but has since re-opened.
The investigation is ongoing and no charges have been laid.
