Man seriously hurt in windmill accident

Ontario’s labour ministry is investigating after a 37 year old man suffered serious injuries in an industrial accident in Thorold Saturday night.

Niagara Police say the man was crushed between two 48 tonne windmill towers at the TSP Canada facility on Hayes Road South. The unidentified victim was airlifted to Hamilton General Hospital with life-threatening injuries.

TSP Canada Towers opened its factory in the former Dana plant in Thorold last June.
