A Hamilton man captured on video making racist comments has been charged in another hate crime incident, Hamilton police say.

The 27-year-old man is charged with uttering threats in an incident that happened on Apr. 1 in the area of Upper Centennial Pkwy. and Rymal Rd. E.

He has a court appearance scheduled for July 29.

Police say it’s the same person who was caught on video over the weekend making “hateful” comments toward another person in Upper Stoney Creek.

The video was posted to social media, which is how Hamilton police became aware of it.

They say the incident has not been reported to them.
