Man robs woman at ATM on Hamilton Mountain

Hamilton police are investigating after a 19-year-old woman was robbed at an ATM near Upper James St. and Mohawk Road West.

The woman had just finished taking money out when she was confronted by a man who grabbed her and said if she didn’t turn over the money, she would be assaulted.

The victim turned over a small amount of cash and the man fled the area.

The suspect is described as male, white, in his 40’s, and a heavy build. He was wearing dark clothing and had his face covered at the time of the robbery.
