Man rescued after falling 30 metres at Devil’s Punch Bowl

A man is in serious condition after falling 30 metres at Devil’s Punch Bowl in Hamilton.

Rescuers were called just before 4:30 p.m on Monday and were able to secure the man on a board and carry him out.

First responders at the scene say the man had extensive injuries and was transported to the Hamilton General Hospital.

In June, a 25-year-old man from Toronto died after falling off the edge of the popular site.
