Man pinned underneath tractor in Flamborough

A man was taken to hospital after he was pinned underneath a tractor in Flamborough Sunday afternoon.

Emergency crews were called to a farm on Mountsberg Road around 3:00 p.m. A 39-year-old man had been driving a tractor when he was thrown from the drivers seat and his lower torso became pinned underneath the back wheel. He was trapped for around an hour and a half.

The man was taken to hospital with serious injuries, but he is expected to survive. The man resides part-time on the farm.

The collision reconstruction unit is investigating.
