Man killed in ATV crash in Haldimand County this weekend: OPP

A 53-year-old man has died after he was thrown from his ATV in Haldimand County over the weekend.

Provincial police say it happened Sunday just before 6 p.m. on Northshore Dr. in Lowbanks.

They say the driver was critically injured when he lost control of the vehicle.

He died later in hospital.

Northshore Dr. was closed between Moulton-Sherbrooke Townline and Farr Rd. for about six hours while emergency crews and investigators were on scene.

Police say the man’s identity is not being released pending next of kin notification.
