Man hospitalized with non-life-threatening injuries after downtown Hamilton stabbing

Police are investigating after a man was stabbed Friday in downtown Hamilton.

Officers responded around 12:45 p.m. to a report of a man bleeding on a sidewalk near King and John streets.

Hamilton police spokesperson Erin Gunnell says the man was taken to hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.

No arrests have been made, and no charges have been laid.

Investigators are currently in the area looking for witnesses and video of the stabbing.
