Man drowns on Hamilton Mountain

Friends and family in an east mountain neighborhood are mourning the death of a big hearted handyman, who drowned Tuesday night in his own pool.

Fifty-eight year Cam Gibson accidentally fell into the pool while apparently attempting to clean it. Gibson did not know how to swim and no one else was home at the time.

His body was discovered floating in the pool when his wife came home just before 9pm.

An autopsy was supposed to have been conducted today.

Gibson was well liked in the Sherwood neighborhood and residents say he was always willing to help anyone with any repairs they were working on.

Funeral arrangements have not been finalized yet.
