Police say the body of a 48-year-old man has been pulled from the Severn River in central Ontario.

Ontario Provincial Police say a group of coworkers went for a midnight swim on Tuesday.

The next morning, the group called police when they noticed a colleague was missing.

Officers searched the water and found the body of Juan Salazar-Hizen, of North York.

Police say the man drowned in the river and they are not treating the death as suspicious.
