Man dead, woman in critical condition after St. Catharines shooting
Police in St. Catharines are searching for one suspect who they say is “armed and dangerous” following a shooting that left a man dead and a woman seriously injured.
The incident happened Saturday night around 9:30 p.m. in the area of St. Paul St. West and Louth St.
Officers arrived on scene to find a man and woman suffering from gunshot wounds. The female victim was taken to hospital where she remains in critical condition with life threatening injuries.

Police say the suspect is outstanding at this time and is believed to be armed and dangerous, but there is no threat to public safety because investigators think this was a targeted incident.
