Man dead in Hamilton’s 1st homicide of 2014

A 23-year-old man is dead in Hamilton’s first homicide of the year.

Police and paramedics were called at about 4:30 Wedneday morning to 169 Sherman Avenue North.

The man was taken to hospital with life-threatening injuries and later died.

Police continue to investigate on scene. They are not releasing the name of the victim until relatives have been notified.
