Man dead following single vehicle collision in Georgetown

A man has died following a single vehicle collision in Georgetown.

On Saturday, Aug. 27, police responded to the collision in front of 13619 7 Hwy. At around 1:30 a.m., a blue Toyota sedan had been travelling southbound on 7 Hwy when it left the roadway and collided with a raised driveway culvert.

Police say a man was assessed by EMS and succumbed to his injuries. He was pronounced dead on scene.
