Man charged following stabbing in Niagara Falls

Niagara police continue to investigate after three people were stabbed outside the Ritz Inn at Dunn St. and Stanley Ave. in the City of Niagara Falls last night.
Police say they responded to a report of a disturbance in the area. When they arrived they found two men and a woman with injuries resulting from stabbings.
A 50-year-old man was airlifted to an out of region hospital for treatment of serious but non-life threatening injuries.
A 36-year-old woman was treated in hospital for minor injuries.
And a 38-year-old man was treated for minor injuries in hospital before being taken into custody and charged with two counts of aggravated assault, failure to comply with a probation order and failure to comply a with release order.
Police say the three people were known to each other, and due to the element of domestic violence in the incident, the name of the accused will not be released in order to protect the identity of the victims.
