Man charged after grocery store clerk assaulted: OPP

A 77-year-old man is facing charges after an altercation broke out at a grocery store over physical distancing rules.
Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) officers were called to a Sobeys in Paris, Ont. around 2:45 p.m. Sunday.
Police say a customer was being advised of the store rules regarding social distancing when he got into an altercation with a teenage employee.
The man then entered the store and got into another altercation with the manager of the store.
Police have charged George Rutherford, of Brant County, with assault and uttering threats.
He is scheduled to appear in court at a later date.
