A man has been arrested in the theft of two catalytic converters in Thorold, Niagara police say.
Police were called to a report of a commercial break-and-enter in progress in the area of Front St. N and Regent St. in Thorold on Feb. 6, around 5:30 p.m.
When they arrived on scene, officers were directed to a fenced compounds. Police found one man hiding under a car.
Police say he was found to be in possession of two catalytic converters. Officers say two of the cars in the fenced compound were missing their catalytic converters.
Pavel Vakoulich, 35, was arrested and charged.
