Make sure your passport’s in perfect order – and in perfect shape

It’s the time of year when many of us are heading south to a warmer climate.

And if you plan on heading to Mexico this winter, you’d better make sure your passport is in pristine condition. Some vacationers are arriving at their destinations – only to be sent right back home.

That has airlines here being extra-picky about passports, because they’re on the hook when travelers are turned away.

Lisa Hepfner has been looking into this and followed one couple frantically trying to save their winter getaway.
