Look-ahead to the 96th annual Oscars

The crux of awards season has arrived.

The 96th annual Academy Awards will be presented this Sunday.

Jimmy Kimmel will return to host Hollywood’s main event, but this year’s ceremony will start an hour earlier – at 7pm ET – and the show hopes to be wrapped up in three and a half hours.

As we look-ahead to the Oscars, we’re joined by Shana MacDonald – associate professor in Communication Arts at the University of waterloo.
