Long Term Care Report “Deeply Disturbing” says PM

Prime Minister Justin Trudeau calls a report about long-term care homes in Ontario “deeply disturbing.  The report was compiled by Canadian Armed Forces after being deployed to five homes in the province last month at the request of Premier Doug Ford.

The Prime Minister says when he read it he was sad, shocked, disappointed and angry.

The Canadian military will keep assisting in nursing homes in Ontario and Quebec, though
39 members of the Canadian Forces have come down with COVID-19 while doing so. 15 of the military members with COVID-19 are in Ontario and 24 of them are in Quebec.
