Local long term care homes continue to fail follow-up inspections

Hamilton public health inspectors are finding more infection prevention and control problems at for-profit seniors facilities across the city. Over the last month, issues have been identified in at least eight retirement homes and long term care centres, including some that are battling active covid-19 outbreaks. Two experts say the real problem is the for-profit care home system itself. Matt Ingram reports.
