Tomorrow is the 100 year anniversary of Billy Bishop’s attack of a German-held aerodrome in the first World War. It was a solo mission he was eventually awarded the Victoria Cross for. His story was outlined in the documentary, “A Hero to Me”, created by his granddaughter Diana Bishop, and now she’s written “Living up to a Legend: My Adventures with Billy Bishop’s Ghost”
