Liberals presenting budget

Premier Kathleen Wynne and her Liberal government will present their “do-over” budget on Monday.

The budget triggered the June 12th election after the opposition parties rejected it.

The Liberals say they won’t be changing anything, and aren’t even bothering to put a new cover on the 368-page book.

Highlights of their plan are the same including $130-billion for infrastructure over a decade, $29-billion for public transit projects and a “made in Ontario” pension plan.

NDP leader, Andrea Horwath says she’s concerned the Liberals won’t address increasing electricity costs and are planning to lay-off public sector workers.
