Liberals looking to loosen liquor laws
The province is considering major changes to Ontario liquor laws.
The new rules would get rid of beer tents at festivals and events — allowing people to walk around events like the Sound of Music or Festival of Friends — drink in hand.
They’re also proposing extending the hours that booze can be served at special events — like weddings and charity fundraisers — to 2 am from 1 am
And ‘all-inclusive vacation packages’ could soon be sold in Ontario.
